Governing Board/Accountability Committee

​​​​​The Governing Board is a branch of the school administration made up of parents, teachers, community members, the principal, and a Cherry Creek School District administrator. Through the Governing Board, shared decision-making and site-based management is accomplished. A primary function of the Board is to oversee the implementation of the adopted Challenge School proposal. Each school is required by the state of Colorado to have an Accountability Committee, which is comprised of parents and staff, that helps establish goals around student achievement and growth. All meetings are open to the public. Parents and staff members should feel free to attend the meetings. In addition, agendas are set prior to meetings so if you would like to suggest an agenda item you must contact the school principal two weeks prior to the meeting with your request.
