Help Educate Our Youngsters on Recycling
Did you know that not all plastics can be recycled with your at-home pick up today? We are partnering with Ridwell, who collects single-use plastics and everyday items that can’t go curbside now through May 8th. So bring in these items and recycle them in our school collection until May 8th!
PTCO General Meeting and Volunteer Breakfast
PTCO General Meeting - May 7th at 8:15am
Join our last PTCO meeting of the year, to hear about personnel changes for the 26–27 school year and submit your questions for Mr. Strohfus in advance for our Q&A session at our volunteer breakfast on May 7th. We are also looking for a co-treasurer for the new school year, please let us know if you are interested!

Challenge Cares Day - Saturday, May 9
Challenge Cares Day brings together students and families from all grades to celebrate volunteerism and community stewardship. Whether your interests include supporting food pantries, creating greeting cards for patients, or working outdoors, there’s a meaningful opportunity for everyone to get involved.

Food Distribution at Hope Starts Here Food Bank
Time: 8 AM – 12:30 PM; Age Requirement: 12 years & up
Trash Pickup at Parks – Utah Park & Quincy Reservoir
Time: 10 AM – 1 PM; Family-Friendly
Making Greeting Cards for UCHealth Patients
Time: 10 AM – 12 PM; At Challenge School ; Family-Friendly
Weed Pulling at Quincy Reservoir
Time: 10 AM – 1 PM

The Colorado State Board of Education approved Cherry Creek School District’s Teacher Degree Apprenticeship Program, a partnership with the Community College of Aurora that allows aspiring teachers to earn a degree and licensure while working in classrooms.

Bus Drivers - $24.39/hr
Non-CDL Drivers - $21.99/hr
Bus Assistants - $19.75/hr
Inside Out Summer Enrichment Program
The Inside Out summer enrichment program offers rising first through eighth grade students a learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and effective communication skills. Inside Out offers classes with options for half-day or full-day for one or two weeks during June 2026. Registration is open March 30th - April 20th.
Student Payments Moving to MySchoolBucks
Starting March 23, 2026, all student fees and purchases will be managed through MySchoolBucks (MSB) - the same system already used for meal payments. You can now view and pay meals and fees in one place.
