Library and Media Program

Library and Media Encore for grades K-4 fosters a lifelong love of reading and learning.  The goal of library encore is to encourage students to be curious and creative, and to celebrate diverse voices and multiple perspectives.  Students develop the research and media/information literacy skills they need to succeed in middle school and beyond, and embrace technology as a means to explore, create, collaborate, and communicate.  The library encore curriculum aligns with both Colorado Academic Standards and the National School Library Standards from the American Association for School Libraries.
