Visual Arts Program 

Creation is at the heart of the visual arts curriculum alongside with the Colorado Academic Standards for Visual Arts. Students learn to work with various tools, techniques, and mediums. They learn to make choices that enhance the communication of their ideas as well as problem-solving through the development of aesthetic perception by interacting with works of art. Each year the art curriculum is developed with K-8 theme that promotes making connections throughout the building.

Creating is a beautiful experience and celebration. I try my best to create an environment to support all students with their artist talents while supplying students with content to help them grow artistically.  We celebrate every artist with a grand art show at the end of the school year.
